Fondled the brave-heart amidst the sun
His toil and sweat are not undone
Tears that fall into his grave
Awake the thoughts, the deeds of the brave
Who fought with vigour, dignity and pride!
His Armour went wild with a roar so wide
And courage that geared up with the time
Strengthened resistance did not sublime
“My country, my duty!” he quoted, he quoted
“Sacrifice the joys, the span of living,” he noted
“Let us win for the heritage & truth to yield”
And went on and on till he breathe the battlefield
In his motherland; with purity and integrity,
But within a spur became a victim of hostility.
He had to leave the world, the land he won
Where he awakened the rise of a new dawn
The bullet that went past his back and soul
A matter of unfairness & unholy play of foul
Yet He stayed so calm and let his heart fall
And before leaving he gave a pleasant call
“Life is where your mother is;
Let your ashes, your memories carry bliss
Days and nights work their part sincerely,
It’s requite what heights u reach for your country”
The patriot inspired all, as he died with grace
Eyes closed; flowers lied; unmoved in his place.
