Lucky to have survived another blast…
And if you are reading this, even you are one lucky person!!!
(I just don’t expect you to be reading this on your BB sitting with your legs raised in a shoddy government hospital where they will rush the injured)
My dad has now survived a total of 3 blasts in Zaveri bazaar; yesterday’s being just 20 meters away.
Let’s have a candle light march???
Whoa man… seems we just have candle light marches; it looks so beautiful… The silence of the “PEACEFUL” protest turns into a DJ party in the “month of birthdays” in September. But you know what? You will be safe there; it’s a private place and usually blasts don’t usually happen there. (Until & unless your party is in a 5 star hotel, be aware then)
Your shouting slogans will justify support, but for what?? That we condemn these blasts??
Well, everyone condemns it. Think what goes through the minds of the families who know this is going to be a one day high emotional drama and the other day we don’t know what’s happening…
How many of us have visited them, checked if they really got compensation from government (although compensation are not what they are living for, but you should know how government fools us and them)
Let’s take media’s help to fight them??
Arrey bhai, if you even have 100 people and want to do “tod-fod” (breaking up things) somewhere, they will come to cover you… even a quite good channel like “Times now” will ask you, “How many people will be present?” (Personal experience)… even if your protest is genuine and sincere…
I do not blame them; it’s their choice. But don’t consider them your staunch supporters.
It’s now or never!!! ….. ????
Seriously?? How many “now” have come & already gone? Ask yourself why are you still alive?? Well let me consider you being sympathetic towards the sequence of events and want your relatives and friends to be safe. Very caring; so what is it that you going to do to actually help the situation??
Have you filed any RTI on what kind of security is provided at public places in a blast-prone mega-city like Mumbai?? Do you know who handles this work… what is the bureaucracy process??
Acha, toh ek week baad i.e. after a week your boss asks you to leave your job to continue your protests, will you??
After a month, you have your relative’s bday / wedding/ etc.; will you protest not to have it, to condemn the blasts?
YOU can remove out your frustration for 1 day… 2, 3, 4, 5… & THEN?
Back there sitting in 1st class local with an empty bag below your seat;
Riding in a crowded bus with your rear swinging at every turn which might be your last;
Hailing a taxi without knowing what’s in its back;
Walking besides a scooter which may explode out of nowhere;
Having cuisine in a 5 star hotel restro, just to know you are under siege;
Having super nice snacks in a the khau galli, only to know it was sin to be present there;
Or have some few more ROCKING BIRTHDAYS (it was kasab’s rumored birthday yesterday, and boy did he have one) or a CLASSIC LOCAL RIDE which will be mind-blasting (as they say)???
Many people don’t vote because they feel the government can’t do anything, and when it actually does nothing and we lose our lives, we blame the same government… WHY???
When you know they aren’t going to do anything, it then means they did their job!!
People can start FB pages for this, have large hearted and emotionally aggressive discussions… we will do this, we will do that… And when it comes to actual actions, probably few my take it…
When it comes to sustain those actions, rarely someone would take it…
and when that someone fails, it is us who will question them “Itna karke kya mila?” (What did you get doing all this?)
Truly, I did not get anything, but a moral satisfaction that I fought, I tried… But who buys that?
BUT WHATS THE FINAL RESULT??
People will pep you up to fight, will leave it themselves and still have the guts to put you in the dock… and the system remains so, still vulnerable to have another blast!!
Stop typing “it’s now or never” messages and hyping up the people who have lost hopes and are not even eager to take it up against our government..
Just stop being a typo on the net…
Have you ever told the police that “a guy is passing away with this luggage in a station platform”?? Yes, most of them get away; few times even had seen kerosene taken in the train. Did I do anything?? Yes, few times, only to be retorted with a zany answer “I know my work”.
But what else have we done to keep a check on the security systems at place??
How are we even going to keep a check at a place like khau-galli???
Will you always check the whole place before entering into it???
This is Mumbai – this is India mere dost…
Mumbai has a population more than 14 million…
Politics is more of a career in getting rich being a public servant…
Bureaucrats are people with innovative ideas on how to earn more money… (Although not all, but most… let’s give credit to the good ones)
And we are the most COMMON people to strive each day to earn more money…
The person who wants to fight in such a system has to make lots of strides to fight on… and he saves his voice for the real battle (which is not online!!)
Stop shouting and continue working… stop blowing up the issue… which is common folk-lore now (unfortunately of course)
If you have a cockroach at home, you have a broom to whoosh it away… If you say the broom is faulty, make your hands dirty… if you don’t want to do it, LIVE WITH IT…
My turn will come to die one day… Let’s live till that day!!
Note: – My personal views, with no regards to anyone else… Everyone has the right to fight and please do so… Kindly do not ask me to join another candle march…I am happy to fight some few little causes in my own ridiculous ways… Live to fight another day!
